Description:


The Simon Framevent is the latest additions to our extensive range of window ventilators.

Ideal for both timber and PVCu, the Framevent has been specifically developed for the volume market.

Manufactured in the highest quality, U.V. stabilised PVCu, it reflects the growing market trend towards softer lines.

Durable, easy to fit and fully tested, the Framevent represents the new generation of window fittings.


Specification:


Equivalent Air Rates of 2500EA and 5000 EA as required by Approved Document "F" 2006 for England & Wales.

2000,3000,4000,6000 & 8000 free air models availble for use in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Snap on quick fit end caps

Positive open and close action

6 colour options - Standard White, Bright White, Dark Brown(mahogany), Tan(light oak), Cream (RAL 1015) and Dual colour options on specific models.

Integral flyscreen in external hood

Can be fitted to give updraft or down-draft

Suitable for PVCu, timber and aluminium windows

Sleeves available to ensure full compliance with BS7412:2002

Design Criteria:


Tested to BS 13141-1:2004 - Equivialent Area figures as required by approved document "F" 2006.

Tested in accordance with BS EN 1026 & 1027:2000

Manufactured from a"Lead-Free" UV stabilised high quality PVCu

Achieves a water tightness limit of 400 p.a.

Assembly & Maintenance:


Rout out the frame with the correct slot size and configuration for the model to be fitted.

Place units centrally over the slots. Fix the unit in place using the screws provided.

If fixing the units to aluminium window frames, use the screw hole centre details shown opposite to drill pilot holes, then screw to frame as above.

Once the unit is screwed in place simply press the end caps in place on each end of the ventilator.
